Standard Support Hardware Placement

To place support hardware, a standard procedure is used for most of the available components.

Note: OpenPlant Support Engineering components all share a common Properties Dialog .
  1. Select a support option from the tool drawer.
  2. When prompted, select the support component to connect to.
  3. Define component properties in the link Properties Dialog.
  4. Use either the mouse, or the Path Placement Dialog to determine the precise location and rotation for the component.
Note: While placing OpenPlant Support Engineering supports, you are using referenced piping/structural/equipment models to help determine the location of the support component. Click Here for additional information on attaching the referenced model(s).
